Privacy Policy

The short version: no accounts, no ads, no tracking. There is no email, no analytics SDK, and no advertising identifier. The one thing our server ever stores is an anonymous alert registration — an Apple push token, the coin ids you've asked to be alerted about, and, only if you switch on deposit alerts, the public address of the wallet you want watched — and turning alerts off deletes it. The App Store privacy label lists exactly that, as "Data Not Linked to You."

What stays on your device

• Your watchlist, manual holdings, and watch-only wallet addresses are stored on your device and, if you use iCloud, synced through your personal iCloud account. We cannot read them.
• Wallet addresses you add are read on your own device against public blockchain APIs, and they stay on your device — with one exception you control: turning on deposit alerts for a wallet shares that wallet's public address with our alert server so it can watch the chain for you (see below).
• Holdings and portfolio values never leave your devices.

Face ID and your device passcode

The optional Require Face ID setting locks the app when you leave it. Unlocking is handled entirely by iOS through Apple's Local Authentication framework: the app asks the system to verify that you are the device's owner, and the system answers yes or no. Crypto Dash never receives, collects, stores, or transmits face data, fingerprint data, or your passcode. The app has no access to them, and nothing is shared with anyone. There is nothing for us to retain or delete: no face data ever exists in the app or on our server. The only thing the app stores is whether the lock is switched on, on your device. The setting is off by default and can be turned off at any time in Settings › Privacy. If Face ID is unavailable, iOS falls back to your device passcode in the same way.

What our server sees (alerts only)

If you turn on real-time alerts (Watchlist guard, Runner Radar, deposit alerts, or the morning brief), your device registers with our notification server. That registration contains only the following:

• An anonymous Apple push token (a random identifier Apple generates — it does not identify you)
• The list of coin ids you watch
• If you enable held-coin alerts: the list of coin ids in your portfolio — never amounts
• If you enable deposit alerts for a wallet: that wallet's public address — used only to watch it for incoming and outgoing transactions. Never a private key (the app never has one), never your balance.
• If you send a feature request from Settings: the text you wrote, your app version and, if alerts are on, the last few characters of your push token. Nothing else, and nothing at all unless you tap Send.
• If you turn on Contribute to Trending (off by default): an anonymous, opaque hash for each coin you add, watch or hold — never an amount, never your identity, and rotated so it can't be traced back to your device. Our server keeps only aggregate counts, and never shows small numbers of people. Turning it off stops it immediately.
• Your alert thresholds and preferred brief hour

Nothing else. No names, no emails, no IP logs kept, no balances — and no wallet address unless you switch on deposit alerts for it. Turning every alert off deletes the registration. The market and headline data the app displays is fetched from our server's public cache, which requires no identification at all.

Third-party data sources

The app and its server read public data from CoinGecko and Coinbase (prices), alternative.me (Fear & Greed index), public blockchain nodes and explorers (wallet balances), and public RSS feeds from crypto news publishers (headlines). While the app is open, live prices also stream directly from Coinbase's public market feed over a single anonymous connection — no account, no key, nothing sent but the coin symbols being watched. These requests carry no personal information beyond what any web request inherently includes.

Purchases

The one-time Pro purchase is processed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date. The commitment above — no accounts, no ads, no tracking — is the product's identity and will not change.
